Steering column issues
I'm having an issue with my tilt steering column on my 85 F350. If I use the key I can't start the truck.I've eliminated the Ignition switch because I've tried to adjust both ways & that still didn't fix it. I can take the switch off & start it with a screw driver by activating the switch itself. What I have observed is that when you put the switch back on the column you can turn the switch till it starts buzzing but you can't get it to the start position. I looked down at the rod & it moves down till it gets to the start position & then it starts pushing up in the air. I haven't pulled the wheel off yet. My question is what could be wrong?
