Now Neal......I don't want to disagree with you, but there WERE 98 model F-Superdutys. I was going to buy one from a firestation north of me for my current project. And I will tell you, it was a gem. Super 60 front axle 10 lug, and Dana 80 rear 10 lug. It's only downfall was it was an Auto, and we can't have that. LOL But I was the same opinion as you, I thought there was no 98's till I came across this one. Just FYI

P.S. About the stock SMF. It may be available in 450 but was not put in 250 or 350's at all. There also was not a such thing as a '98 250 or 350. They stopped the OBS in '97 and started the SD in "99. The only 250 that was made in '98 was a light duty, which was nothing more than a hopped up 150. None were diesels and talk about ugly!!!!
I checked this weekend, and it looks like I have a LUK flywheel/PP combo. The 1997 F-Super Duty/ F450 must have came with the DMF as well.
