My parents gave me their '62 F250 as a college graduation present a few years ago and I'm finally making time to get it running again. It came with the original 292 sitting in the bed and a 352 under the hood with a couple of busted rod caps. As part of the deal they included a 390 short block from S&S Engines with an RV cam. Don't really know much else about the engine except the casting numbers from the heads, intake, block, and flywheel. I can post them later if there is interest.
On to the question.
There were two carburetors in a box on the seat. An Edelbrock 1405 (1479 stamped next to the 1405) and another 4 barrel carb with no markings whatsoever except the ford logo on the choke cap and a cast 112 behind the linkage rod between the throttle and what is probably the accelerator pump.
What is this mystery carb?
