Ok, just looking into front bearing hubs encase I need to do them in the future. Seems like alot of places have them for $97-$109 a hub, but they give two options of studs, fine or coarse thread. Which thread is considered which? I know I have 14mmx1.50 on my 03 7.3 4x4, but is that considered fine or coarse? The hubs I found are lifetime guarantee for those two prices.

 

My 02 has the course thread. I think they changed them for 03 to the fine, I just don't recall when the change happened. I'm mobile right now, but if you search that issue I know there are threads out that will tell you when and the thread pitch so you could tell for sure. I replaced mine a yr ago so I just don't recall the sizes any more. That is a decent price for lifetime, but lifetime is only as good as the company providing them.

 

14mm x 1.5 is fine.
14mm x 2.0mm is coarse.
