Need a Dana 60

I need a dana 60 that will work for converting my 1985 ford f250. I'm lookin to spend no more than a thousand dollars.

I don't think you can get a D60 in a 2009 F150-

You being in CA (I assume) I would say probably not. You can find them under $1000 on CL Atlanta. If you watch the pullapart yards around here, you can get them for <$200 complete. I think your best bet would be buying a complete junked truck.

I'm glad you're having such an easy time finding d60's. I bought mine for $150, but it was missing everything from the drivers side knuckle out. Now I spend all my time looking over craigslist or ebay looking for the parts I' missing.

Ed, you really need to keep us posted on ALL your projects. What do you have like twenty trucks with Dana 60's?

I'll bet you have a quarter million dollars worth of parts lol.

I do believe the biggest thing I got to break wheeling was my buddies pride. I had a samurai at the time and pulled his 88 F-250 out with it!

I got a take off Dana 50 from a 99 F250 for $600, Some how or another I got involved with one of my customers who is going to do a DANA 60 swap and now need to sell the Dana 50.

still on the truck and is complete disc to disc, maybe this will motivate him to get this Dana 60 out of my parts dept. can be ready to ship early Jan if interested.

Ed
