If you look under the hood between the powersteering reservoir and the black fuse box you'll see a wad of light gray wiring harness connectors. One has the TWO HFCM wires coming out of one side. I mounted my relay to the bracket between the reservoir and fuse box, ran two short jumper wires from the pink/black stripe wire and the black wire to terminals 85 and 86 on the relay, which are the coil terminals. Terminal 30 on the relay would be fed by a 12 volt power source (I ran mine directly from the battery with 8ga) and terminal 87 or 87a would be the main power to your AirDog. When you turn your key on the relay triggers and feeds power directly to the AD. If you don't start the motor, for whatever reason, it will eventually time out and shutoff. It's not constantly hot.
