76 F250 390 no AC I took out my old heatercore, it measures 7" tall Got another one from Napa. It is 9" tall. They have two listed. One has the pipes coming off the side and one where there off the end. Mine is off the end. I've called two other places and they show the same thing. Any ideas? LMC shows it on their catolog.
Nobody seems to have a listing for mine. Anybody got a part # I can give them. Should I go to the wrecking yard and look for a HO assembly to put in mine beings it's a crew cab? Is there a way to tell if it is HO before tearing one apart?
Before you take the heater core back, check to see if you have a high output heater that a previous owner put a regular core in. I have a HO heater in my truck that was that way. I just took the old core in and bought one like the old one. When I went to install it I noticed it didn't fit right. I went back and got the high output core and it fit great. If you use a regular core in a high output heater you get a lot of cold air blowing past the core so it never gets very warm, and if you live in an area with -30 weather you really notice it.
Thanks for all the reply's. The 6603519 was correct number. The pic in there book was wrong. Had them order that number and the tubes were right. Funny thing is, it's $2 more for the smaller heater core. Go figure. Thanks again.
