Okay guys, I replaced the switch on my 88 F250 and the wipers ran fine, maybe a little slow, but it did the job. I got in my truck today and it was raining so I turn the ****, no wipers....for a second, then they kind of drag accross being all jittery and such and now they're stuck right in the middle. It won't squirt windshield washer either. It kinda squirts every now and then like it has a short or something. So, I figure it's in the wiring...I tried to check and I took apart my dash but I have no idea what to check for...help?
I think theirs some kind of connector to the wiper motor that can work loose after a while. Their was a thread on this a while back. Not to be a smart a$$ but how much WW fluid do ya got?

Haha, no worries about coming off like that, I've got a sense of humor. To be honest, I hadn't checked but I just did and it's over half full.
I have the the same problem, but anyway, the motor has a ground ring inside the mount rubber on some and may have a copper cable running from the mount bolt to the firewall.
I think they are just crappy wiper motors, I've changed a bunch of these over the last few years.
I think Ford bought 5 billion motors years ago and are still using the same ones.
Love the rest of the truck though.

There is also an electrical box between the dash control and the wiper motor. I forget the name of it but it isn't listed in the auto parts stores. Mine was bad and all I had was high speed. Changed the motor first, with a motor from a Taurus and when that didn't fix it found out about the box nobody knew about. I even asked the parts guy at the Ford dealership and he said there was a box between the switch and motor. I asked him where and he anawered, in the dash. Where? the dash. That was all he could tell me. BTW, I have a 1987 F250 Extended cab.
