I have had 2 pto winches one on 67 gmc and other on 81 one ton ford the less joints in the drive shaft going from the pto out put shaft to the winch the better my gm was a strait shaft was excelent no vibration the ford had some bends with ujoints and pillow block berrings 3 I think and you could not rev the eng up at all . Winches are for pulling yourself out not in LOL
