Well, as most of you guys know it has been bout 2 1/2 months since i was laid off, play time is now over!!!! I went today and did all of my paper work, and I will be starting my new job next Friday Sept.18th with the Sheriffs Department. I will only be working 14 days a month, so I will have time and the fundage to toy around on the "Green Machine"!!!!
It is definately going to be a big change for me, but it is something i have always wanted to do, just havent had the oppurtunity until recently.
BTW Congrats on the New Career move for you also Pete.

''legally" unemployed, I still put bacon on the table by other means. I had been working as a diesel mech underground in the Zinc mine here in Mascot, we got laid off at the beginning of Feb this year, i'm waiting on them to start production again when the prices get back up high enough. In the mean time i'll go back to manufacturing crystal meth

Cory, I had no idea you were "legally" unemployed, but I sure hope that turns around for you soon. You probably explained it in the short time we talked at RRE, but I think my head was in such a fog at the time that it just didn't register.

I went right back to my old welding/fab job i've worked on and off forever now, its not bad, I dont pay any taxes

My main concern is that most people will shy away from being themselves just because i am employed by the Dept. and that is definately not what i want to happen. On the clock i am buisness, off the clock well lets just say thats is a different story!!! So go ahead and pass that Mason Jar!!!!!!
