In most areas, cops seem to have quit worrying about small blue LEDs but something as large as the FORD oval would probably still get their attention.

CL108 Ford Truck 1997+ Lighted Hood Emblem
This is about all I could find.
Spent about 20 minutes of searching, this really was quite hard to find, and the website doesn't work, however there is a phone no# to the shop in AR, you might be able to call em and see if they still have this item in stock or can still get it. Other wise it would seem that you would have to make your own.
On that mark, AutoZone/Advance Auto sell an LED kit with just the small lights themselves, using that, a small drill bit and some glue it should be too hard at all to make one. However, driving the vehicle with a blue light on can and will get you into trouble with the law.(note this doesn't apply when the vehicle is parked)
Hope this helps and good luck!
