I work with fiberglass and casting resin... It should be easy to make a light-up badge yourself.... NOT sure how they are made ... Buy a badge .....sand off the back... "paint" on a thin coat of casting resin ( to fill in the sanding scratches/ use as a base for the LED (Radio Shack)... add the LED and resister (if not 12v) ... build it up to decent level ....color the background ...add more resin to seal the whole thing... wire it up and mount it. Sound simple / I've been doing stuff like that for a few years + boats even longer. LED's come in different colors and voltages.. "research" may be needed. An old/clean butter tub can be cut to make a good mold.

Tons of options on ebay, I just ordered one. They all have a disclaimer saying they may or may not be legal in your state and say there only for rear mounting. In all reality unless its REALLY bright they probably won't care, unless they're a newbie on a power trip. Careful tho, some don't include the actual ford emblem, just a lighted oval that lights up around it rather then through it.
