Please, need help with AC comp.bearings

Hello!
My AC bearings are squealing. I need to drive next week 600km and I affraid that the bearings will wedge up? Can it happen? So if possible, maybe some one has experience to change theese bearings. Can someone know what size they are and what type of bearings? The most better is if someone has drawing of it. Looking very yours minds.
Car is Ford F-150 5.0 XLT Lariat 1991 year
Thanks!
Mike

Welcome to FTE

The squealing noise is coming from the compressor, but I doubt this is the source.

In my opinion, it's one of three things:

(1) The compressors clutch bearing / (2) The A/C idler pulley / (3) The belt tensioner.

For parts catalog illustrations, other info, I suggest you contact GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH: greensalescompany.com / 011-513-731-3304.

But if I spray the oil between clutch pulley and shaft, then the noise is going away for a while. Allthougt small metal dust is over the wheel witch is driven by belt.
Thanks for answering.
And sorry about my language mistakes.

If the AC is off, the clutch is not engaged and the only thing that spins is the clutch pulley. So if you hear the noise when the AC is turned off it must be the clutch pulley bearing. You can slip the serpentine belt off and manually spin the clutch pulley to see if the bearing turns freely. The bearing is sold by itself.

If you have the Ford Factory AC and not a dealer installed AC which would use a Sanden compressor you should have the FX15 compressor. The FS10 compressor was recommended by Ford if you changed from R12 to R134A refrigerant.

If you do a Google search for "FX15 Black Death" you'll find the FX15 compressor had serious reliability problems.

The FX15 clutch pulley bearing is a BCA National 5106WCC
Dimensions below are in inches .

1991 FORD F-150 5.0L 302cid V8 MFI (N) : Heat & Air Conditioning : A/C Compressor Clutch Bearing Price Core Total

For a Sanden compressor pulley bearing.

BCA/NATIONAL Part # 5001KFF {Ball Bearing Outer Race Radius=0.024" Bore=1.5748" Outer Diameter=2.4409" Width=0.9449" Inner Race Radius=0.026"}
