they do make a drop bracket and with only 4" of lift I think you can still use the OEm trac bar, any more than that and youll need an after market adjustable.
I did the swap about two years ago, and you will need three things, an OEM track bar, the OEM track bar bracket, and a 4" drop plate/bracket which will lower the track bar bracket. If you don't use the drop plate you will need a longer than stock track bar, and it will work, but most likely doing this will cause the track bar and steering drag link to not be in parallel, which will cause bump steer. Ideally the drag link and track bar should be parallel, and I know mine turned out very close.
Thanks Guys. Just got it back from an alignment. I used the drop bracket from skyjacker for the axle pivots on the ttb. THe stock bar fit up perfect and is parrallel with the drag link. Truck rides much better now. Never could get that stupid ttb to stay in--even after new brakes rotors, pivots, drop brackets, bearings and races, all new seals, u-joints, adjustable ball joints. tie rod, drag link, and auto hubs. I HATED that thing Thanks again
So I got a 96 cc that was f250 and now ha the Dana 60 but it has 12 inches of lift what's my best bet to get the track bar to work?
take the trac bar off mesare how long you need, cut the ends of trac bar off and get some same gauge round stosk and make one, or take to a shop, you can buy one but makeing is way way cheaper
