squealing noise when braking

I have a 2000 F-250 with an annoying squeaking noise the front drivers side only. When you apply the brakes it make a squeal and also riding on a rough road it squeals too. But after putting it in reverse it does not make noise at all, but will come back a few minuetes later. The brake pads a rotors are fine. Any answers

Ummm wheel bearings

they could be going out and the stress of the brakes makes them squeal.

Good luck. The drivers side rear does it on mine. Brakes are fine and I pulled the axle to check the bearings which felt great?

Are you sure the pads are fine. Sounds like the pad warning squealer is hitting the rotor. Just making sure.

This sounds like a chatter condition to me. Try removing the brake pads and apply a Thin coat of grease to the Back side of the pad. Also, if there is a notch on the pad , grease this contact area ...Good Luck.
