EGR Delete problem.

EGR Delete problem.
Hey all, I recently installed an elite diesel full egr delete kit and the one pipe with the flex piece in it broke. I was wondering if I could cut the flex part out and just put a piece of straight pipe in it for a more solid piece? Thanks!!

That piece was designed to add flex to for the solid mounted cooler, my cooler is on the shelf and that flex joint blew twice so it got fixed.That was last year about this time,no trouble with it since.There is another flex joint above that one so it is still able to flex.I will have to go measure the pipe and post back.

Do it. With the EGR connection gone it doesn't need the flex there anyway. Your exhaust shop is wrong.
