Glow plug wires
Ok I drove my 97 Ford off in a hole trying to chase the cows back in the fence and tore the front axle under, so I have made my 88 back into my daily drive until I can fix it. I drove it all day the last two days, but yesterday the glowplug light came on and stayed on. I've never seen this happen on the new glow plug style. Then today, a wire somewhere burnt up, I haven't found it yet, I think its related, but I unhooked every wire going to the glow plug relay, and the light is still on. What controls this light and what would be the first step to getting all of this figured out, I'm glad its hot enough to start w/o glow plugs, but it doesn't like to and I don't like spinning my truck that long.
