Truck question
Hey guys. I looked at a 1994 F350 crew cab dually with the 460 and a 4 speed auto. The owner states he gets 12- 13 MPG all day doing 70 75 MPH.... I have a had a 460 in the past and i got around 9 towing or not...
The body is in great shape and had 156K on the truck he wants $6300 for the truck..

Thats a lot.... Mileage sort sucks but it is doing about 75. 156K is high in my opinion. For that cost anyhow. Not sure how great the 460 is though. If the body is in great shape as in no rust and still all solid and you have a transplant and time for it, it might be worth it.

If it's got 3.55 gears and it's towing nothing but it's own 7000lb *** around.. then sure I believe that.. overdrive is a wonderful thing.

I was told it has 4.11's yea its a 2 wheel drive. also its an xl i belive is the right badge. It has ac and cruise. No pw or pl. And has a rubber floor.
I offered him 4K for it. He said he would talk to his wife and let me know.

A truer statement has seldom been seen on FTE!........I would pass on this one.....................If you are looking for a 460 truck, find Grandpas RV hauler that has 60,000 miles on it and has been babied all its life.............They are out there, you just have to look a little harder.
