Help decoding this front axle tag (numberdummy)
I'm looking at a parts truck mainly for the front axle and 4x4 parts. I was wondering if someone can decode this axle tag for me and if the number tells what the gear ratio is. The number is: 3 50 D8TATE 610049-5

The first 3 numbers are the ratio, 3.50. It is a D44 front axle.

D8TA-TE - 3.50:1 ratio / free running hubs / 3500 lbs capacity / model no. 44-9F / non-locking differential / 610049-5 = Dana's BOM.
