I have looked everywhere I think and am coming up virtually empty on decoding the axle tags i know my gears are 3.54 and thats about all i know what do the rest of the numbers mean or where can i go to figure this out. and do the tags tell me if its a 44 or a 60 my tags are.

Front axle 3.54 d8ta aec 610040-2
Rear axle 3.54 d7ta aeb 603883-3

Truck is a 78 F250 I-6 4spd. and the front axle is a high pinion
Any help with this is appreciated
