302 still missing. Help!!

It's been 2 or 3 months since I have been on here and worked on my truck. I work out of town and it feels good to be back home and get to do things I want to do. My truck is still missing when it shifts into 2nd gear and at highway speed to. My vacuum advance still is plugged off. It will not take gas when it is connected. the 302 is a 91 model motor. I used the block and heads and everything eles is off my 79 302. The vacuum advance worked great on the 79 302 but will not work on the 91 302. Everything that had to do with the ignition is new. The truck idle's good and rev's good to. You put the motor under a load and thats when it starts to miss. I put a new condensor in the distributer to. I hate to take it to someone to let them fix it because I like to do all my own work but I'm about at a stand still with this. If any of you could give me some help it would be great. I'm all ears!!! Thanks Scott

Just a shot in the dark but could it possibly be something in the transmission causing it to bog down when it shifts?

Sometimes its hard to diagnose a problem not being there 1st hand.

I dont think its in the trans, but I will check it out. It has to be in the timing somehow. I guess I will take it to someone.
