POJ 6.0 is missing
Got a 2004 6.0 that is missing real bad 1500-2000 rmp. Took it to the dealer for a checkup. Everything tested out good except that it threw code- po101 and po103. It has an Airaid air box. It does 11mpg everyday and 4 mpg pulling. Need some help!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to FTE buckman123, those are codes for MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) that is biased or damaged. Stock is better at keeping out dirt.

Sure if it's not metering the fuel properly. The 6.0 is very dependent on the MAF readings to run right.

Sell your POJ Airaid. Keep your 6.0L well maintained so it won't be a POJ.

Buy a factory air cleaner assembly, pull off the Air Raid, clean the MAF sensor, then install the factory intake assembly. That'll do it.
If it's still a piece of junk then sell the truck.

Maybe because the MAF is (or was) about $400 to replace??? At least the last price I had for it was. Hopefully they are MUCH cheaper now.
Edit: A motorcraft is $173 from Rock auto, so they may be cheaper elsewhere.
