This is a pretty ignorant question but I'm going to ask anyway. The 6.0 PS has dual batteries, and the battery on my passenger side has alot of buildup on the positive terminal. Do I have disconnect both batteries to clean the one battery with the buildup (using a wire brush, baking soda / water combo, etc.)? I'm noticing that the truck is starting to get sluggish on start-ups, and before I replace both batteries, I want to clean the messed up one first to see if it has any impact.
Yes, but can I brush the + battery cable with a wire brush while the secondary battery is still hooked up? I want to avoid shocking myself and cooking the other battery, truck electronics, etc. Thanks.
