Brake problems, I have a 93 F250 and the brakes suck.
I have replaced a caliper and rear brakes bled the lines over and over, I still don't get any back brakes, I have adjusted them with the truck lifted until they grab but when I drive they still don't seem to work. I bled the fronts and have great pressure there but from the proportioning valve to the back breaks it barely drips out when I bleed them, does this mean the master cylinder is no good?
There is a bleeder valve on the ABS module, but it could be a bad module. They are a pretty common item to fail and when they do they usually keep the rear brakes engaged while driving which leads to a lot of problems.
If you want to fix it once and forget about it, bypass the valve with a piece of brake line. You'll never have to worry about it again!
