when it is so hot I drip just thinking about moving, I don't care for it. With a fan going, it isn't as much of an issue...

I tend to drive with the window down a bit most of the time, regardless of the weather. Must be a holdover from my smoker days or something. One of the things I really miss on my F150 is that it does'nt have a vent window.

Cold does'nt bother me a whole lot, really, since I can always come inside or get inside the truck and warm up if it gets too bad. The only time it bothers me is when my ears or nose get cold, but I have my Elmer Fudd hat and a facemask to combat that.

I love having the windows down when it's warm. I rarely use AC, unless the wife or kids are in the truck. Yeah, I remember the days of driving with the window down about an inch, regardless of the weather! 6 years since I've done that, I certainly don't miss it!

Haha... That's pretty good.

I normally plug mine in, but anymore I never plan enough in ahead to figure out that I will be driving it.

Were are still picking corn back home... Almost everyday unless they are plugged in we are jumping the combine and semi's. It gets pretty old. At least one of the cart tractors fire up and we can start jumping everything else.

Generator's been in the shop for the last year... Went to check on it before harvest and it seems the guy "forgot" about it.

Fellro, I know how you feel about having everything scattered out around the shop. We spent the 4 hours before the first snow picking up random stuff in the yards and bin sites... which should have been done a month ago when it was too wet out. Nothing like waiting till the last minute. Anybody ever had to snowblow a field entrance with the tractor so you could get the combine in? There's some nasty drifts out there!

Ifn I didn't have a job, I'd volunteer to come help. Always wanted to run a combine.

Still see corn standing around here, too, so you aren't alone.

The stroke started w/o the block heater after work today, just a few spins of the starter. Happy to hear, means I shouldn't have any issues the rest of the winter unless I lose a relay or have a battery take a crap on me.
