Starting in the front, passenger side odd, driver side is even.
7 8

Ok, that's something I didn't know.
Several years ago, when I first started working on my Ex, I asked a Ford tech if the cylinder numbering setup was the same on the 7.3's as they are for the gasoline modular engines like my Lightning, he said "yes".
All this time I thought it was like my Lightning, being
(firewall/windshield)
4.....8
3.....7
2.....6
1.....5
(front of truck/rad)
With the bank one (cylinders 1 - 4) being the passenger side, and bank two (cylinders 5 - 8) being the drivers side.
Ok, just ohmed out the glow plugs via the connector on the GPCM as it is faster to get too than the 9 pin on the valve cover. 1, 3, and 5 are all good, 1.5 pretty much dead on, but i get nothing on 7. So, bad glow plug on 7 appears to be the fix. Will wait to do this one on the weekend.
Now to track down the low Turbo preasure. Unplugged and replugged the MAP sensor, and traced out the vacume hose, it seems straight and no cracks at the connections that I can make out. Will go through all of the intercooler boots next and see what I can find there.
Perfect call on the intercooler boots, the one under the battery on the drivers side had slipped partially out of the clamp. Loosened up and reattached, no more boost errors. Also found several others that were quite loose, so should prevent future issues.
thanks for all the help, will change out the number 7 glow plug soon and all errors should be clear.

Will be interesting to see on the power, it was pulling my 22 foot gooseneck horse trailer with 6 horses over Montana passes like it was nothing before I fixed the boot
I just took a 400 mile trip running empty last weekend and got 16.5 mpg runnin 82 on cruise, an improvement in mileage would be a bonus, but i was happy with what i had, being as my last truck was a 454 gasser, got about 9 mpg wherever i went, lol
A mere 6 weeks ago I posted this on FTE as my first post(i think) not knowing my butt from a hole in the ground. now I am the local "expert" (ok, only 1 truck other than mine, lol)
thanks to everyone here at FTE, i can't even begin to list what I have learned in 6 weeks.
