I'am new to your site so, instead of asking a question right away I searched thru all the post first.
I have a 1996 f-350 7.3l that acts like its out of fuel, So I changed the fuel & air filters. It starts fine and idles well but when I take it about a half a mile down the road and turn around,it starts to ildle a little rough, on the return I hammer the thing down to about 65 mph and I barely make it up a 100 ft drive way but if I put it into park and let it idle for a few minutes it starts to idle fine. It does the same thing on the freeway you can get about 3 miles and it will die and takes forever to start again.
So could it be the cps I have read so much about? or maybe a weak fuel pump getting ready to quit.
This site is great I have already fixed other issues with the wealth of knowlrdge on here. Thanks
