Yep just changing to neoprene bushings is going to give the chassis a different feel.. I just did a set on My uncles Vette here about a year ago...and man what a difference it made, along with the new shocks it drove like a new car...Yep it always safety first i my book !! You can always wait for that first ride...But if you rush..that first ride could always be your last if not done right..
Has a Buddy of mine that has been racing for years ! and never had any even a close call on the track...and got T-Boned in the pits a couple of months back by some Pit racer ! So i always side on the caution side....Best be safe than sorry..
Well........late to the party( as usual), but glad to hear it's got a heartbeat now! That's always a heap of weight off your chest when it finally breathes life!!
New front bushings?? come on....a loose front end always transfers weight faster . Every racers knows that . Who cares if ya gotta steer it some
LOL..... Yes loose bushings would make it more sporting... but at my age,,, changing lanes is only good on the freeway. I mounted the nos solenoids today.
Going slow,,, but going...
My neighbor has one that he hasn't driven in a couple of years. Last time I heard it run it sounded pretty mean. I think he is too busy drinking and beating his wife to spend time on his car, he might be willing to part with it. It is a coupe, and I think it is a '65-'66-ish. I can't remember for sure his Jeep cherokee is parked in front of it. pretty straight looking car though.
