I have been trying for weeks to line up some V and B codes springs to do the swap on my 03 6.0PSD but can't seem to find any . Anybody got any suggestions or lifting their truck and want to sell the take offs? May have to order some new ones from the dealer!

 

post a request on the classifieds here - check craigslist, or even post a want add on craigslist.
for my rears I actually found them on CL by my inlaws and had them pick them up. took a few months, but it was winter so not in a big hurry.
if you are in a hurry, probably have to get them from the dealer.

 

I searched locally for a while and all I could find were tired, worn out salvage yard springs. The local dealers were no help; they wanted to charge full retail (~$1300). I scrounged the part numbers off of a couple post here and started looking on-line.

I placed the entire order...all new Ford parts...for about $1000 shipped across the country to my door (WA to VA). Ed worked with me to keep the shipping to a minimum and double checked my order to make sure I got what I needed.

I decided that I wanted to keep this Ex for a while, so new springs made sense (at least that's what I told the wife). I probably could have gotten the cheaper and heavy stuff locally (like the blocks and bump stops) and save some on shipping, but I still saved $150-200.

Don't forget to verify if your Ubolts are the Flat (Square), Round, or SemiRound type before starting ...
