Hey guys I have a question for anyone who may be able to shed some light on this project for me I have a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT with a 4.0 liter V6. I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with my headlight ****. I thought my assembly was broken because my headlights would turn on fine when you would pull out the ****, but when I would go to push the **** back in to turn them off there was play in the **** and I would have to put my hand behind the dash to create resistance behind the box so the **** could be pushed in. I bought the new assembly and installed it and the same thing is happening. I now do not think it was the box at all. Is there a part or something that holds that box into place and maybe it came unglued or broke off?
