1973 460 electronic ignition problems

1973 460 electronic ignition problems
I got this 460 and it has electronic points. Never wired them up before and I looking at the internet for a diagram for these wires. Its purple, red, and black. Right now i have the red on the positive coil and a hot wire going to that. The purple is on the negative and the black is ground. Its not working so i am doing something wrong. I am wondering if you guys can help me out.

If all you got is the dizzy & the coil, you dont have all the parts. Theres a module box that controls everything.
Go up top on you screen, on mywebsearch, & type in Duraspark ignition & a bunch of different site listing will pop up detailing the duraspark ignition system.
12V wire from the key switch got to go to the control module box & then to the dizzy.
