4wd engaging again

i replaced my auto hubs 5yrs ago due to this problem. replaced with warn manual hubs. no problems till now. last week they started trying to engage again. i was clost to home so i stoped, locked hubs and drove home slowley(no noise when locked). does the vaccume line have something to do with this?

No expert but with the manuals, don't you have to plug up the vaccum hoses because you can't use the shift on the fly anymore.
