Coolant weep

I have a coolant weep there is drain holes on either side in the middle of the heads this is where I can see a coolant mark on both sides. Has anyone had this before and or any thoughts on where it may be coming from ?

Maybe the fan is blowing coolent from a leaking hose or stat housing? Never heard of this from the middle of the heads. Is it in the valley or the side of the heads?

On the outside of the heads like it has come out of the drain holes

I had a simular issue once before. There was a plug that was leaking on the back side, the side close to the firewall in back of the engine. I remember I had to use a 1/4" (I think) ratchet to tighten the plug, because it was a square drive. I don't know if this is the same thing or not.

Sure you ain't talking about your freeze plugs, I had one leak on mine at under 20,000. Seen you post Ray, I think we're thinking of the same thing.

Hmm, I know there's one in the block around there from when I had to flush the cooling system. Are you sure it's in the head?

We got to learn yaa how to post pics, that would clear everything up. Those coolant plugs(for draining) are up near those freeze plugs on the block, if I remember correctly. Subscribing.
