I have one in my toolbox for my 92 (and a good VOM) and they has saved $$$ over the yrs.

Happy Days --- No more CEL!! Went to the Ford dealer for the dynamic testing ($106) and got the oldest tech they had. Looked like Santa. Results showed 'slow switching O2 sensor #2'. So I got two new sensors and had them installed last Monday (not by the Ford dealer!). The CEL came on as usual after driving a mile or so, and then went out. Has not come back on so I am quite sure my problem is fixed. Now for a new headliner and paint job. Thanks for all inputs.

Thanks for the report back, hope that works out for you.
Did you clear the PCM? either with code reader or disconnect battery for 10 min. This allows computer to start fresh with new monitors.
