Reprograming electronic door locks
Anyone know how to reprogram the unlock/lock on our trucks? I lost both of mine last fri...I know its in my owners manual but I cant seem to find mine

I remember seeing the guy at the stealership do it when I bought my truck but cant remember exactly what he did to save my azz. I think you have to turn the switch from off to run so many times with in so many seconds and hit a button on the remote but not sure.

PROGRAM KEYLESS ENTRY/REMOTE
(Up to 4 units max)
(All locks must be up or down at start)
1. Insert a key in the ignition and turn from OFF to ON eight times in rapid succession (within 10 seconds) with the eighth turn ending in the ON position.
2. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm that the programming mode has been entered.
3. Within 20 seconds, program a remote transmitter by pressing any button on a transmitter. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm that the remote transmitter has been programmed. (If more than 20 seconds pass before pressing a remote transmitter button, the programming mode will exit and the procedure will have to be repeated).
4. Repeat step 3 to program additional remote transmitters. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm that each remote transmitter has been programmed.
5. When you have completed programming the remote transmitters, turn the ignition to OFF or wait 20 seconds. The doors will lock/unlock to confirm programming has been completed.
Valet Mode: Insert a key in the ignition and turn from OFF to ON three times in rapid succession (disables anti-theft). To enable anti-theft, Insert a key in the ignition and turn from OFF to ON three times in rapid succession.
***NOTE: You have to program all the remotes every time. Only the remotes you program during that session are going to work with your truck, so make sure you program all the remotes you want to work each time!***
