reprogramming remote locks

This definately works. You dont have to kill yourself and it may take a couple of times before you get it. Dont do anything else in programming mode because you may change some other features unwillingly. You can have up to 4 remotes for any truck. Any ford remote tends to work, even the ones for cars on a truck, etc.

cycle your ignition on and off 5 times without starting it ending in the on position. the locks will lock and unlock. hit a button on the transmitter and the locks will cycle again turn the ignition off and you are done. the stealership by me wanted $40 for those 5 seconds of work

I tried the procedure in the manual and it didn't work. Some tips people sent to me were to unlock the doors with a key when getting in and then lock the doors behind you. If you have a factory installed alarm (and not just the keyless entry) it is supposedly 8 times turning the ignition on and off. Mine never worked. I was working on my truck later that weekend and had to disconnect the batteries. I firgured I would try it again the next day and it worked for some reason, go figure! If all else fails, disconnect the batteries and try again!
