went to a car show at a dealer here in Denver yesterday, they had one, orange just like the op pictures, the market adjust price was 7,895 bringing the total to 47,385 a lot of money for me to spend, but it's a nice truck.
when I went and got the oil changed on my car yesterday (part of a maintenance package that came with it) every car on the lot had one of those market adjust stickers on it between 5k and 9k. WTF is that all about? We've NEVER had those before.
id wait to see when they put this 6.2 v-8 in it. ive been hering rumors of 500hp 4 it. ford say probly in a yr after the intruduction of the raptor. if u think the mark up for it now is bad see what happens wif this 6.2 v-8!
Whats up with the three lites in the 3rd brake lite? Anyone know?
Those are clearance lights. If I remember correctly, when they first introduced the Raptor, they said they had to equip it with the clearance lights (you see them in the grill, corners of the body, and the third brake light) due to the increased width of the body versus a standard F-150 body. The overall width of the truck with the wider body panels, flares, and wider stance, required the lights for DOT purposes...similar to the duallies.
I think its great value.
The biggest thing I see is WARRANTY!
Its nice being able to buy a truck with a 6" lift and take it back to the dealership and not be worried about loosing your warranty.
I saw 2 on the road last weekend in San Diego, great looking trucks too!
