The one on the end was the green spout, looked like Flying Js. aand after all those miles of running, I have only seen Yellow and green spouts for quite a few years and I only fuel at J or if I have to, someone reputable. The station is at best a dirt parking lot and I don't think they even had the octane rating (required by law) on the pumps and Cetane rating is suppose to be published too. I fuel there because he told me to and never said the diesel pumps were put back so I missed them. I know I really should have dumped some on the ground but was in a hurry and that nagging feeling just stayed buried.Hopefully it din'nt damage it as diesel would stay in the bottom and be sucked out first.
You are an unforgiving j..ka.. too. You'll get yours someday. I'm 61, a Vietnam Vet, a Pilot, an A & P Mechanic (one of the highest paid in the world) and own a farm, have some college too. I have more street education than you'll ever get having delivered freight in The Barrio, Detroit, NY and Chicago. I've been in all the states and 9 countries. Make fun of me all you want. I made a mistake which was actually a series of mistakes, did'nt kill anyone and probably only caused some minor scuffing to bearings. I never argue with an unarmed person. What are you're accomplishments sir.
Relax, we try to have a little fun around here. No one meant any real offense. You are absolutely not the first person who accidently put gas in their diesel truck, and you won't be the last either.

Relax man, I was just pickin in good fun. I have made plenty of stupid mistakes, and Im sure Ill make plenty more before the end. I was simply pointing out the irony of the situation at hand. My accomplishments? Whats that got to do with anything? One of my accomplishments is being able to easily identify people with HUGE ego's

I want to say as a son of a Vietnam vet I have the upmost respect for vets with regard to their war service, I want to make that plain right up front.
Now it's time to whip out mine to get measured. Street experience, I grew up in Dallas damn near became a member of what you would call street punks, luckily we moved before that happened. I was a terrible ****(I don't cuss much on here, but that is a part of my life I'm glad that was avoided). So don't lecture me about street smarts by just delivering freight to big cities.
Education: B.S. degrees in Animal Science with emphasis in horse nutrition and Ag. Economics. Masters in horse nutrition and economics(regular economics here, not ag although there isn't much difference between the two other then the examples you use). Picked up how to be a farrier as well.
Own my own farm and make a significant amount of living I might add.
As far as travel you have me there, never been out of the Confederacy.
As far as making mistakes that does happen to us all, even the wonderful person that is me makes mistakes(yes I know hard to believe but true), however, making smartass comments to people that are trying to help you deal with your situation isn't making things better.
Now off my soapbox and done with the measuring stick(all of which was irrelevant on both sides as far as this thread was concerned, but still fun to do nonetheless). Good luck with the truck, I agree with the others it probably was caught in time and won't lead to long term damage if it's all flushed and filters changed and add some fuel additives for awhile to help the injectors out for sure.
