After all the talk here on this I tried to change the grey out for the International I keep in the glove box but try as I may that sucker would not come off. I guess I'm screwed if it ever completely goes out. The grey seemed to be an improvement when first installed but now I don't like the chug chug chug idling associated with it.

They can be stubborn, you need a long screwdriver or pry bar to get it started out. Once it gets started on its way out they come out pretty easily. You did remove the bolt, right?

I can't get the bolt out. The Ford dealer put it in there with torque to spare. I sprayed it, went to 1/2" drive from 1/4". I gave up afraid to break it.

Alright guys, I got a new grey one from ford after it took a dump on me again! Got the new one in and am still having a problem. Ran good (normal) for a full day, parked it in the drive and the next day went out to go get some ice, it wouldn't start (no tach). Took my other truck and got the ice, came back and crawled under the thing unplugged the cam sensor, checked the connection moved the wires around plugged it back in and tried again and it started right up. With it running I took a stick and moved the wiring around and pushed on the connector and could not get it to die. I left it running and was working in the yard, it ran about 20 min. and died. I went over and started it right back up.
What the heck is happening?
I am going to test the wires as soon as I get a chance. Does anyone know which wires on the main harness are the ones to the cam sensor? I was going to ohm them out and see what that gives me. Anyone know any other tests I can do? I am convinced it is in this circuit because when I change it and or just jack with it enough I can get it started.
I need some help, I never know when this thing is gonna die.
