I purchased a used 93 E150 last Dec - everything seemed to run fine 'til I had it shipped over to the UK. The transmission has developed a definite vibration at about 45-55 mph. Feels as though its in the wrong gear. I can let up on the gas, then resume accelerating and all is fine at higher speeds. I know there is an electronic control module on the car - My question is could the thing have forgotten when to shift? The battery was dead for about 2 weeks after being shipped.
