Fabulous shots Snapon!
David, how does the trailer handle? Seems like the axles are fairly centered on the trailer.
Here's my latest scrap run, got another 3 scheduled this week.
Nice having an 11' flatbed...beng able to haul 16' warehouse pallet racking is a piece of cake! Again, not a weight issue as it only weighed 1700 lbs...it's a volume issue and I had room to spare. Looks lame with the steel wheels, but I have to run those when I go to the scrap yard because of all the screws and nails on the ground...scary!
A kid in a Cummins was next to me at a traffic light. Sounded like he had a straight pipe, big tires, music blaring. All I could think of was how awesome my $900 flatbed is! Can ya do this with a pickup?
I'd have to agree with the flatbed comment. While mine isn't 11' long (mine is a short flatbed at just under 7 feet long - extended cab on standard frame to keep it short for manueverability). But I helped a friend move the other day. I showed up with my truck and the 16' flatbed trailer. He griped about my truck saying it was useless with a flatbed. I called BS and said it's better, you just have to strap your load down which you *should* do anyways. By the time we were loaded up my "useless 7 foot flatbed" had a computer desk, 2 end tables, kitchen table, 3 chairs and a microwave stand on it and none of it double stacked. I said "Now lets see you put that in your regular box" no comment aside from "maybe if I took the toolbox out from behind the cab..."
Other things I'd like to see people haul in their regular bed: A pickup truck cab, a pickup truck box, a commercial ZTR mower in 6'x6' crate... I rather enjoy not having sides welded on!
thanks bro, i been on here awhile and read posts everyday just dont post much myself haha. yea shes come along way from when i first got her, she barely ran. thanks to this site i can now drive her more then 5 miles without creating a traffic jam with my death cloud of smoke hahaha.......
sweet u got a nice truck yourself... i bought my truck in concord and my buddy lives out that way. if we can get a few more ppl around here we should set up an idi meet. i wouldnt mind checkin out a few ppls trucks and bullsh**in for awhile
i paid way to much for mine and allowed myself to get screwed, i paid 1800 ran good on the test drive but the second i got off the freeway in fremont it started smoking and running like hell. i love the truck and wouldnt get rid of it not but its takin some work to get it running good
i mite just do that, i just threw injectors and a return line kit on it and that helped alot, but when inspecting my turbo i found there to be alot of play in the shaft so im thinkin it might be the seal inside it now. so im tryin to find a rebuild kit for it now. ill add you on facebook and maybe we can set something up there

Handles awesome - even above 80MPH
The wheelbase is very forgiving for manouvering in tight places and I can nearly jack knife it to 90 degrees if needed with how the hitch beam hangs below the truck bumper.
With the wheels close to the center, its easy to man handle around the yard so I don't have to hitch up the trailer any time it needs to move a few feet.
The large rear over hang also allows me to take advantage of small slopes by backing into them for easier loading and unloading.
