Transfer case options...

Was wondering what I would need to change on my transmission to make it a 4wd transmission...

Any ideas? ANd how much it would cost?

the tail shaft.its easer and cheaper to find a 4x4 trans.i'm going threw this now even with friends that work at trany shops.

I'm still contemplating doing a different swap when I get back to Oregon... I have my '88 F350 4x4 back there....

It's a ZF5 truck, and I really wish I had a manual, and 4x4. I'm thinking about swapping the ZF5, t-case, and front springs/axle/steering from the '88 into my Powerstroke. I'd need pedals and clutch parts from a 95-97 truck but everything else should work. And it's a crew cab long bed as well so the driveshafts will fit mine after the swap.

Just not sure if I want to keep the auto or not...
