I had to remove the bracket that holds the trailer harness plug on my Ex today and the bolt (in addition to being in a really tight spot) was rusted tight. Tried Liquid Wrench, WD40 and Move-it all with no luck. A buddy lent me a can of Rost Off Ice and it was amazing. A few shots of the stuff and a few minutes to penetrate and the bolt broke free.
Before today, I never even heard of the stuff. Anyone try this stuff before?
I kept the can and gave my buddy a 24 pack of MGD in trade.
Good work Steve, I have used a like product by CRC called FREEZE OFF works OK but the best way I have found is to use a torch ( Oxy & Acy ) to heat up breaking the rust bond.

Yeah I guess the whole idea is to either shrink it or expand it to break the rust bond between the surfaces, but it still needs something in between the surfaces to lube it, so as not to snap it off if it binds up from the build up of rust.
One of the posts on the Internet I found on this stuff said, it's not a lubricant so he used PB blaster afterwards, and has never had a rusted bolt that didn't free up.
Looks like a good product. I called the NJ sales office and it is about $8 per can min order 4cans. Shipping is $11 or you can go there and pick it up.
now i got to call up 3 other friends and see if they want to jump in with me. I am sure I would have no use for 4 cans.
Found a couple of cans on ebay,They show two kinds one has a lube in it the other doesn't. I do know Wurth sells top shelf hardware. At one time I used alot of it.
