my buddy gave me some headers off a 351C and said that they would bolt on to my 351M, can they? i dont wanna take the manifolds off if the headers arnt gonna fit

Yes, for installation and functionality. If you can get them in then you can get them in, then it is a matter of where the collector's end up. In my case, I used a set of Hedmann Elite coated and they ended up VERY close to the cross member on my 77. I ended up cutting the collector back and fabbing a new one that allow for passage over the cross member. I didn't feel like ordering another set so I just made those work.
but as far as collectors, just getting a 12 inch long pipe and some 6 inch long turndowns
not street legal, but here in oklahoma we dont have inspection :-)
Well... with that said I might suggest some interior insulation, I could also loan you the aircraft ear muffs with the radio built in them that we use on the flight line @Boeing
