I got underneath my truck yesterday to look at my rear end discovered that my spare tire has been stolen. The cable on the winch was cut.

My question is is there somewhere online I can buy the winch assembly and stock wheel for my truck?

I have a 2002 F150 with the "Sport" package.

 

where do you live? ha..i have an 03 f150 and i recently took off my spare which has never been used and can take off the winch assembly and sell it to you.

 

A common problem on these trucks is the cable holding the tire up being wound too tight or rusting causing the cable to snap and the tire being lost somewhere. This may be what happened to your tire.

I live just south of Houston.

 

I had the cable snap on mine. I was passing pickup on the interstate and heard the thud, and looked behind me see the tire rolling. Prayed that the tire didn't hit the pickup I was passing. I watched the tire roll off into a field. So I got it shut down and retrieved my spare.
