Smile EVAP fuel lines

I have a 1997 F150. The evap fuel lines that run to the charcoal canister
need to be replaced because of rust. They run inside the rail on the drivers side and pickup the fuel vapors from the fuel tank. Can I use a fuel
resistant rubber hose? Since the evap lines are bigger in diameter I am concerned about using medal replacement because of the bend in the lines.
Thanks
Jim

You can try it but be aware if you get a EVAP code that is probably were its coming from. Make sure the connections are good.
