Cabin Air Filter

I've just recently become aware that my 2003 XLT has a Cabin Air Filter. So, I've checked the prices and availability.

It seems $65 if available..

Any suggestions for a better price.

Try regular auto parts place. still expensive for what you get. Appx 12-16 dollars for wifes car. Expect to replace once or more a year. They are nice if you have allergies.

I've never heard of a cabin filter on a Ranger. Where is it located? Is this something you found in the owner's manual?

Maybe that explains the odd smell in my truck. Where can I find this filter?

Not terribly likely, it was a dealer installed option for the F series and I have never seen one in the wild. Go to Fram's online catalog and see if they make one for your truck.
