In my experience new tires always feel squishy and the steering is a little wishy washy. I think it's just the new rubber and a real deep tread pattern that allows a little movement.
Hopefully they are load range E tires. If you went from E to D you would also feel a difference.
I was always a Bridgestone Dueler guy until I got convinced to try the GoodYear Wrangler Pro Grad w/Silent Armor. They are real good tires too. 52,000 miles on them so far.
I have the same tires, same size. I have no issues with them, they've been great since day 1. Much better in rain and snow than the stock Conti's. I run the tires at 70 psi.
There may be negative reviews out there, but there are also a lot of positive ones as well. If you do a search on this site you'll see a lot of good feedback.
I might be a little concerned about running the rears at 80 psi. (i am guessing this is the max psi rating for the tire) psi can increase (as well as decrease) with ambient and running temps. I would lower 3-5 psi. min.
