Well with all theory in mind, a bad ignition would fail under load not at idle. Sounds like you have a vaccum leak, egr coming on, bad MAF, etc.... The code you gave tells nothing. You need to know more.
I'd say with 141K miles and you just now thinking about a plug change, you have lots of issues with the truck, hidden or obvious. Change plugs, wires/cops and boots. Clean egr ports and maf. Ck pcv system for vacuum leaks. Clean throttle body and replace fuel filter.
