oh i see. it looked decent in the pic you posted, but i didnt look too closely.
isnt this going to be a farm truck, why not just FLATBED the bitch?
No not in any lifetime will this truck be a farm truck. Maybe a landscaper's truck, but not a farm truck. But I don't load tools over the side of the bed like the PO and I can drive properly and hook trailers properly unlike the PO so I should be ok.
Plus you lose a lot of freedom with a flatbed. On a flatbed you can't just throw stuff in the bed and be gone. Technically on a flatbed everything is supposed to be tied down since it's got no sides.
i am keeping my eyes peeled for a nice aluminum flatbed with wood deck. i'd like to make some nice cherry or mahogany sideboards and decking for it. im also looking for a nice take off OBS bed....but they dont exist anymore.
Good morning, everyone. It's a little wet out there. Called the boss today to ask if she needed me to pick anything up on the way in. She said bring a book cause it's probably going to be very slow.
Hay guys I talked to the guy about the 4x4 jamboree in Mass on Sept, 26-27
He said the car & truck show is Sat.
On Sun they are having a mudbog and sled pull.
He is hoping to have the dyno on both days.
Been working on the Jeep again. Installed a mechanical oil pressure guage. Installed radiator hoses, and finished the tranny lines. Installed the B&M shifter, but had to cut out the exhaust, too close to the tranny shift cable bracket.
Only things left is fixing the exhaust and wiring the radiator fan.....
